A Muslim Woman Gets $400,000 In A Death Threat Case.

The Washoe County School District in nevada agreed to pay Jana Elhifny $400,000.

Jana Elhifny was a freshman student at North Valleys High School, where she received death threats from fellow students for wearing her religious headscarf.

Jana Elhifny informed teachers and administrators about the death threats but unfortunately they have taken no action to address the matter, jana dropped out of the school, filed a lawsuit and left the country.

Stephanie Hart also a former student at North Valleys High School was ostracized for being the friend of a muslim woman who wears a religious headscarf, she will also get $50,000 as a settlement for her civil case.

"The district did an incredibly thorough investigation," Cox told FOXNews.com in a phone interview. "They could never identify the person who perpetrated these acts. ... The district did everything it could do to try to help this young woman who is an Egyptian and of the Islam faith."

It's interesting to see that the school district sounded very confident in their investigation and findings, yet agreed to pay $400,000 to settle the case.
