The Question:
May ALLAH reward you Sheikh, I'm a young man, i woke up from my sleep at the time of the Fajr Athan (call to prayer) and lazily i fell back asleep, and i didn't wake up again until the time of Fajr prayed has passed, what is the ruling on this?
The Answer:
You've made a mistake, because you woke up at the time of the Athan (call to prayer), if you slept through it and you didn't hear the Athan, you would have an excuse. But since you heard the call to prayer you should've got up and not submitted to sleep. You have to seek forgiveness from ALLAH for this sin and perform your due prayer.
